Our approach

A reference platform dedicated to coercive control and aimed at better protecting women and children who are its victims.

Put an end to coercive control

Origin of this website

As part of its ‘’Améliorer la pratique judiciaire” project, launched in 2021 with financial support from Women and Gender Equality Canada, the Regroupement des maisons pour femmes victimes de violence conjugale has developed several tools on coercive control for professionals in the justice system, including police and correctional services. In less than three years, the Regroupement has trained more than 6,000 professionals in various sectors in recognizing coercive control.

This reference website on coercive control encompasses the expertise gathered over the years.

This platform offers resources and tools to help understand, detect and take action regarding coercive control, whether you are a professional, a victim or a family member.
