A child suffers the consequences of domestic violence simply by growing up in a family where the daily atmosphere is one of fear, tension, control and restriction, even if there is no physical violence.

This video highlights the experiences of children living in a context of coercive control, even after their parents have separated.

Even when they are not directly targeted, children suffer the effects of the restrictions and rules imposed on their mothers.

To show what cannot be seen, there’s nothing better than using fiction. 

This is the third very short film in a three-part series, funded by the Secrétariat à la condition féminine / Government of Québec.
