Women’s shelters:  

They are there for you and your children.  Specialized counsellors are present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can provide you with:

  • Shelter
  • Services to support you, listen to your needs and help you navigate different tasks: finding housing, setting up safety plans, applying for social assistance, medical and administrative procedures, immigration applications, etc.
  • Specialized services to help your children, too.  
  • Immediate, confidential telephone support.

You can benefit from support even if you don’t leave your partner. External services are available to help you better understand what you are experiencing.
